National Academies Advisory: Priorities for future space exploration

SCIENCE IN NASA'S VISION FOR SPACE EXPLORATION, new from the National Academies' National Research Council, reviews NASA's objectives for implementing its Vision for Space Exploration, a new set of goals for human and robotic exploration of the solar system and beyond. The report looks at previous Research Council reports to determine which recommendations are timely and relevant to the new goals, and recommends ways to integrate NASA scientific research into future space exploration.
