Efford opens Americana 2005

MONTRÉAL -- On April 6, the Honourable R. John Efford, Minister of Natural Resources Canada, will give the keynote address at the opening plenary session of Americana 2005, the sixth biennial edition of the Pan-American Environmental Technology Trade Show and Conference. The theme is "Eco-City: Generating Sustainable Environmental Solutions."

Minister Efford's address will focus on Canadian innovation in clean technologies. There will be a media opportunity immediately following the plenary session.
