National Academies advisory: Nov. 19 public briefing on interdisciplinary researchFACILITATING INTERDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH, new from the National Academies, examines current interdisciplinary research efforts in the United States, and recommends ways to encourage more collaboration among scientists from different fields. The report will be released at a one-hour public briefing.
