Society of Nuclear Medicine's 51st Annual Meeting June 19-23, 2004Media register now!Representatives of the media are invited to join over 3,600 nuclear medicine physicians, scientists, pharmacists, and technologists as they share research, learn about the latest breakthroughs and discuss the critical concerns facing nuclear medicine today. It all happens at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in downtown Philadelphia when the Society of Nuclear Medicine holds its 51st Annual Meeting from June 19-23, 2004.
Hot topics for the 2004 meeting include:
- Techniques for the early diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease
- Advanced imaging for the diagnosis, staging and treatment of cancer
- Nuclear cardiology
- How nuclear medicine and bioengineering have joined forces to fight cancer
A briefing for both medical trade and non-trade media will be held on Monday, June 21, 2004, from 11:30am until 12:30pm in Room 308 of the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
Most of the program is open to the media including plenary sessions featuring expert speakers addressing the past and future of nuclear medicine, categorical seminars, continuing education courses and presentations of scientific papers.
