Nerac.com to deliver newswire feed twice daily

Nerac clients to receive international business news through a single source

Nerac, a leading information provider for researchers in science and technology, has recently inked a deal with ProQuest Information and Learning to offer a custom-built database of eight international news feeds through one resource. Offered as Newswire Feed, Nerac clients can receive business news information two times per day from around the world.

With Newswire Feed, Nerac clients receive daily coverage of business news from the following publishing sources: US Newswire, PR Newswire, Businesswire, Canada Newswire, Jiji Press English News Service (Japan), Xinhua News Agency (Asia), Access Czech Republic Business Bulletin and InfoProd Research (Middle East).

Custom built for Nerac, the Newswire Feed database provides coverage of business news from around the world. The feeds from international sources will help clients uncover today's global information before it becomes yesterday's news.

"Through Newspaper Abstracts, ProQuest always delivered a top-notch product. Now with Newswire Feed, Nerac can offer a custom-built resource for our clients that is business targeted and provides international coverage. Processed from a continuous feed, this new resource allows us to deliver the most current updates possible to our clients," said Nerac's President Kevin Bouley.

Newswire Feed's eight sources are each delivered as a continuous feed to Nerac. This data is then processed twice daily for delivery to clients at 7AM and 1PM (US Eastern Time). In conjunction with Newswire Feed, Nerac also offers four other ProQuest databases: ABI/INFORM, ABI/INFORM DatelineTM, Dissertation Abstracts and ProQuest Newspaper Abstracts.
