Zerhouni, M.D., announces plan to speed medical discovery Wide-ranging NIH plan, developed in conjunction with experts from key fields of medical research, will significantly accelerate the pace of medical research. The plan will:- Change the way clinical research is conducted, speeding development of new tests and treatments.
- Create a new style of scientific research teams.
- Accelerate the understanding of how the human body works in sickness and in health.
