
October 2002 From American Society of Human Genetics Robert Horvitz, pioneer in cell death, to be awarded international genetics prize Peter Gruber Foundation and Nobel Prize winner to meet with press in Baltimore on Oct. 16 2002 American Society of Human Genetics Annual Meeting to be held in Baltimore, Oct. 15-19In a ceremony at the Annual Meeting of the American Society of Human Genetics at the Baltimore Convention Center, the Peter Gruber Foundation will award its Genetics Prize for 2002 to H. Robert Horvitz, who also won the Nobel Prize in Medicine this week. The press is invited to attend the award ceremony from 1:45 to 2:30 PM and a press briefing with Dr. Horvitz from 2:30 to 3:30 PM to discuss his latest research.
