
April 2002 From The Gerontological Society of America 'Relationships in a Changing World' -- call for papers The Gerontological Society of America is accepting abstracts for its 55th Annual Scientific MeetingThe Gerontological Society of America invites students and professionals to submit abstracts for its 55th Annual Scientific Meeting, to be held November 22-26, 2002, in Boston, MA. Abstracts should present completed research on some facet of gerontology; interdisciplinary reports are encouraged. All abstracts must be received by Monday, April 15, 2002. Online submission is available. GSA's Annual Scientific Meeting is the largest multidisciplinary gerontological meeting in the United States. The meeting draws more than 3,000 professionals nationwide and internationally in the field of aging. Last year's meeting featured approximately 1,600 presentations in 400 sessions, all in one of the following four formats: poster presentation, paper presentation, symposium, or media presentation. The theme for this year's meeting is "Relationships in a Changing World: From Aging Cells to Aging Societies."
