The report also contains The HSUS' blueprint for ending pain and distress in research animals over the next 20 years. Other panel participants will discuss the legislative framework for addressing pain and distress, public concern on this issue, the recognition and alleviation of pain and distress, and problems with the existing system for reporting pain and distress.
