JW Nieves, Helen Hayes Hospital, West Haverstraw, NY 10993, email: [email protected]; with accompanying Editorial: Osteoporosis treatment and the calcium requirement. B. Dawson-Hughes, USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging, Boston MA 02111.
